There is no greater reward for us than seeing our patients transform into confident, happy young men and women. When a patient leaves our office on the day their orthodontic treatment is completed, it is an absolute honor for us to be on the receiving end of their gratitude. A new smile usually comes with a heightened level of self- esteem - and we like to think we had a little hand in bringing about both!
Our orthodontists love working with people of all ages and seeing how a beautiful smile can make such a big difference in their patients’ lives. As your orthodontist, it is our goal to provide you with an exceptional orthodontic experience, one that leaves you smiling for many years to come.
Dr. Bright became an orthodontic specialist because he is very passionate about orthodontics and its impact on people’s lives! As a hard worker with a genuine interest in helping others, he strives to build his business on a foundation of solid interpersonal relationships. He is a native Texan raised in a single-parent home by his mother, a school teacher with a Master’s in Education. He grew up in a home built on strong Christian values, further strengthened by his mother’s insistence on the importance of hard work and a solid education. Growing up, he was never the kid with the perfect smile, which contributed to his interest in orthodontics as a young adult. Becoming an orthodontist has opened a world of opportunities for him, allowing him to create a loving, family environment for his patients while giving them what I did not have… “A BRIGHT, healthy, beautiful smile!” There is no greater reward for him than seeing his patients transform into confident, happy young men and women. He is blessed with the ability to serve his patients and give them the smiles they deserve. As a patient leaves his office on the day their orthodontic treatment is completed, it is an absolute honor for him to be on the receiving end of their gratitude. A new smile usually comes with a new level of self-esteem, and he likes to think he had a little hand in bringing about both.

Christian family values are very important to us, and we work very hard to keep a loving and happy home based on these principles.
Dr. Magness loves working with people of all ages and seeing how a beautiful smile can make such a big difference in his patients’ lives. As your orthodontist, it is his goal to provide you with an exceptional orthodontic experience, one that leaves you smiling for many years to come. He began his orthodontic career by earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and his Master’s Degree in orthodontics from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He focused most of his graduate training on providing passive expansion for young patients. Passive Expansion is the natural and gradual expansion of a narrow pallet to allow for crooked teeth to align more naturally. He became a board-certified orthodontist after completing his education. While he has completed all the educational requirements and training necessary to become an orthodontist, he continues to pursue educational opportunities through continuing education. Orthodontics is always changing and advancing with new technology and treatment procedures. He likes to stay current with the latest orthodontic advancements to ensure that his patients receive the most up-to-date treatments.
GET TO KNOW: When Dr. Magness is not at the practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife Sophie, daughter Merit Reese, and sons Beau Bonham and Zane Michael. His hobbies include spending time at his family farm, hunting, fishing, running, and playing golf. Someday he’d like to put braces on Katy Perry, Peyton Manning, Kim Kardashian, and Taylor Swift. Did he mention braces are gluten-free?
